About Us

Living Science, founded by Bruce Bonner and Rick Payant, was created out of an identified need to provide quality supplements and functional foods to people seeking optimal health and an increase in performance.

Bruce holds a Masters Degree from the Edison Institute of Nutrition.  For more than 12 years, he has maintained a busy private Nutritional Consulting Practice in Ottawa, ON.  Well regarded for his knowledge of natural health and nutrition, he is a sought-after lecturer by various groups, especially sports teams.

Rick, who holds a Nutritionist's Degree from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, has owned and operated health food stores for over 20 years.  Outside of the stores, Rick is very active in the community.  He offers nutritional support and sponsorship to several organizations such as the Celiac Society, the Ottawa 67's, gyms and many workplaces.

With the combination of both Rick and Bruce's skill sets and their long-standing affiliations with community groups, various healthcare practitioners and sports organizations, Living Science is well positioned to understand the nutritional needs of individuals.  Additionally, Bruce and Rick have the ability to seek out the products necessary to fulfill those needs.  Whenever possible, Living Science chooses products that have been independently tested for any unwanted contaminants, including banned substances.  These products are identified with the "Verified Clean for Sport" logo.
